This gadget enables the 6hp28 transmission to communicate with the 535d 272hp engine which runs a DDE 6 ECU.
In addition, a fan and reverse light function can be added. If this is chosen it will include the following features:
Fan
Contains a low side relay trigger which activates at 94C and turns off at 90C
Reverse
Supplies a 12v output (up to 10A) to power a reverse light when the transmission is placed into reverse.
Wiring to connect
Supplied with a plug and pig tails. Connections to be made are:
Ignition Live
Ground
Canbus High
Canbus Low
The canbus circuit resistance will need to be correct (60 ohms), refer to our wiring guide for details
